NetJets UK is seeking a Health & Safety professional to lead the UK Health & Safety Program and act as the subject matter expert for crew environments. You will ensure end-to-end risk management, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement within the Safety Management System.

You will manage health and safety reporting, conduct data analysis, maintain the risk register, and drive training and awareness initiatives to strengthen NetJets safety culture across the organization.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent in Health & Safety or similar field.
• Fluency in Business English, written and spoken.
• Minimum 4 years in health & safety programs and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain UK Health & Safety Program for all UK employees.
• Act as SME for UK Health & Safety, guiding stakeholders.
• Manage health & safety reporting system: processing, analysis, risk factors.
• Perform data mining and analysis to identify hazards and issues.
• Maintain risk register and update risk profiles.
• Monitor effectiveness of mitigation actions and improve performance.
• Support training programs and safety culture initiatives.
• Assist with Emergency Response Plan maintenance and drills.

Purpose of Position

Develop and maintain the NetJets UK Health & Safety Program for all UK employees, acting as the company’s subject matter expert in UK Health & Safety. Ensure end-to-end management of health and safety risks, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring, ensuring full integration with the company Safety Management System.

• Develop and maintain the NetJets UK Health and Safety Program for all UK employees, ensuring effective implementation, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance;
• Act as the company subject matter expert for UK Health & Safety, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and ensuring alignment with UK and EU regulatory requirements and best practices, particularly for crew members' operational working environment;
• Responsible for the daily management of crew members' health and safety reporting system, including its processing, analysis, risk classification, identification of event contributing factors and identification of risk mitigating actions;
• Conduct safety data analysis through effective data mining and statistical analysis with the aim of identifying operational and health & safety hazards/safety issues, including flight safety, human factors and crew health and safety;
• Develop and maintain the management of the company risk register to ensure all identified health and safety hazards are assessed, and risk assessment are maintained updated;
• Develop and be accountable for the identification of health and safety hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the NetJets risk register accurately reflects the health and safety risk profile;
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety risk mitigation actions, ensuring risks are controlled and performance is continuously improved;
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Crew Absence monitoring program in liaison with the Crew Support team;
• Support NetJets UK Health & Safety training and promotion programmes to ensure that all NetJets team members have an awareness of safety management principles appropriate to their role and ensure the continuous improvement of NetJets safety culture and awareness;
• Support the maintenance, testing and training of the Emergency Response Plan to establish adequate procedures and actions to be followed in aircraft-related emergency situations;
• Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
• Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other (KSAOs)

• Degree or equivalent training in Health & Safety or similar technical area;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Health & Safety programs;
• Knowledge of Health & Safety programs in accordance with UK and EU regulations;
• Experience in aviation environment is desirable;
• Knowledge of aviation safety management principles and practices is desirable;
• Knowledge of data visualization tools is desirable;
• Knowledge of human factors principles is highly desirable;
• Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
• Proficiency in MS Office.
