KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking an Amazing Backend Developer specialized in Go to join our hybrid team. You will design and implement scalable services, contribute to testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements include 5+ years in Golang, experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Kafka or AWS SQS, Docker and CI/CD, and knowledge of IaC and modern architectural patterns.

• At least 5 years of Go development experience.

We are looking for an Amazing: Backend Developer | Golang

Seniority: 5+ years

Location : Hybrid 1x per week - Lisboa (Oeiras)

Skills Needed?

• Bachelor / Master in Computer Engineering or similar;
• 5+ years of experience with Golang (Go);
• Comfortable designing and implementing unit and integration tests;
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or MySQL;
• Knowledge of non-relational databases, such as Redis/Valkey and DynamoDB;
• Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka and/or AWS SQS;
• Experience working with AWS cloud services, such as Lambda and S3;
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker;
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
• Experience or knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture;
• Knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and/or Clean Architecture;
• Knowledge of Actor Models, Sagas, and Process Managers is a plus;
• Experience participating in code reviews and working collaboratively within development teams;
• Good knowledge of software security best practices, logging, metrics, and monitoring;
• Good level of English and fluent in Portuguese;
• The candidate has to be based in Portugal and open to a hybrid position in Lisbon (1x per week).
