KCS IT invites an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our Lisbon team in a hybrid role. You will design and develop backend services using Java, Spring and Spring Boot, building REST APIs and microservices in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend development, strong OO design, database expertise with MySQL, and solid testing, CI/CD and Agile practices. Fluency in English is mandatory, and you must already be living in Portugal.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and clean code.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot for scalable services.
• Proficient in RESTful API design and microservices.
• Database expertise with MySQL including SQL and design.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
