Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Lead Go Developer in Portugal to join a strategic cloud transformation program in a sovereign cloud environment. You will provide technical leadership to a cloud-native squad while staying hands-on in Go, Kubernetes, and platform automation.

You will influence architecture, drive automation, and collaborate with multiple Product Units to deliver scalable, secure platform services and improved CI/CD processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience with backend/cloud-native Go development; Rust valued.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a cloud-native development team, promoting engineering excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, APIs, and automation tooling using Go.
• Drive cloud platform automation through GitOps and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Collaborate with Product Units including Bare Metal, Provisioning, IAM, Storage, and Network teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and platform evolution.
• Implement and promote SRE principles, focusing on reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and platform industrialization initiatives.
• Ensure cloud-native solutions follow security, performance, and maintainability standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement activities.
• Explore and contribute to Rust-based developments where applicable and beneficial.
