Indra Group is seeking a GNC/AOCS senior engineer to join the Space Engineering team. You will support the Competence Centre for Guidance, Navigation and Control and Attitude/Orbit Control Systems across Earth observation, interplanetary missions, and satellites.

The role requires a solid background in control and simulation of dynamic systems, hands-on experience with Matlab/Simulink, and 3–5 years in aerospace GNC/FDIR. Fluency in English and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in the relevant domains.
• Solid background in control and simulation of dynamic systems.
• Experience with GNC/AOCS and FDIR solutions (ESA/European programmes welcome).
• Good programming skills; Matlab and Simulink proficiency.
• Fluent English; able to work in a team; autonomous and proactive.

Responsabilidades

• Specification, design, implementation, and validation of AOCS and FDIR algorithms.
• Specification and support to procurement of sensors and actuators for GNC and AOCS.
• Model-based design implementation of GNC/AOCS algorithms.
• Simulator design, implementation, and testing.
• Simulation of dynamic systems and mathematical modelling.
• Interface with the overall system team; technical and team management.
