Sovos invites applications for a Fullstack Senior Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal. You will design, build, and operate platform services powering Core Platform and AI capabilities, collaborating with multiple engineering teams to deliver reliable, well-documented services that scale across Sovos’ portfolio.

You’ll own API design, SDKs, and tooling with a strong focus on adoption, security, and testing. A strong bridge between platform teams and consuming teams will be essential to succeed.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building shared services, platforms, or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend platform components; backend in Java, .NET, or Node.js.
• Experience designing APIs, SDKs, or component libraries with developer experience in mind.
• Familiarity with identity and authentication patterns (OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SSO) is a strong plus.
• Experience or enthusiasm for AI tooling, agentic frameworks, and integrating LLM-based capabilities.
• Strong testing mindset: you write tests to ensure reliability after shipping.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to explain design decisions to both engineers and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver platform services that scale across the portfolio, including Core Platform and AI Platform.
• Build with adoptability in mind — clear APIs, SDKs, and interfaces for consuming teams.
• Own testing strategies, deployment lifecycle, and observability for platform components.
• Collaborate with the Platform Adoption team and other engineers to ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain security and compliance considerations for identity-related services.
