Your role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at The Trip Boutique, you will play a key role in owning, shaping, and evolving the frontend of our travel SaaS platform. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable frontend features end-to-end while continuously improving UI quality, performance, and developer experience. Our product is built using a modern stack including Vue.js, Nuxt, and Tailwind, and we are looking for someone with strong, hands‑on experience in Vue or React, who is comfortable taking ownership across planning, implementation, testing, and delivery. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams, act as a frontend point of reference, and support less-senior engineers through reviews, guidance, and mentoring. English is required.
You will be expected to:
- Own frontend features end-to-end, from planning and estimation to delivery and maintenance
- Translate complex user and business requirements into robust, maintainable frontend solutions
- Drive consistently high-quality delivery with minimal rework
- Improve UI/UX quality, performance, and frontend reliability across the product
- Establish, maintain, and own frontend test coverage
- Take ownership of sprint execution and frontend delivery commitments
- Contribute to frontend architecture, patterns, and standards
- Proactively identify and address technical debt and scalability challenges
- Lead and participate in code reviews to raise overall code qualitySupport and mentor less-senior frontend engineers
You must have:
- 4+ years of professional frontend development experience
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Vue.js or React
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working with Git in collaborative, production environments
- Strong understanding of modern frontend best practices and UI/UX principles
- Experience delivering and maintaining production‑grade frontend applications
- English, written and spoken
- Your own computer and a suitable work setup
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Ideally, you also have:
- Experience owning frontend testing strategies and test implementation
- Experience with graphics, charts, and data visualizations
- Experience with Tailwind CSS
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with Node.js and modern bundlers such as Vite or Webpack
- Experience working closely with designers using tools like Figma
At a more advanced senior level, you may also:
- Act as the frontend owner for architecture, standards, and best practices
- Build, maintain, and own a platform-wide UI component library
- Own frontend performance awareness
- Proactively lead frontend technical debt and scalability initiatives aligned with product priorities
- Own and maintain frontend architectural and technical documentation
- Serve as a trusted technical counterpart in cross-functional decision-making
- Mentor multiple less-senior engineers and measurably improve team effectiveness
