Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will develop and maintain robust web applications using ReactJS and NextJS, and contribute to scalable architecture delivering high-performance user experiences.

You will also create comprehensive technical documentation with Confluence, engage in CI/CD workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model in Lisbon.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in modern frontend technologies (ReactJS/NextJS).
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, NodeJS, and package managers.
• Proficient in DevOps practices including CI/CD, GitHub workflows, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive communication in a team.
• English B2 or higher with at least one year residency in Portugal.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) or GraphQL/Headless CMS is a plus.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using ReactJS and NextJS;
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, leveraging tools like Confluence;
• Design and implement scalable web architecture and associated artifacts;
• Optimize web performance, with a strong focus on Core Web Vitals, to deliver exceptional user experiences.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in modern Frontend technologies, especially ReactJS and NextJS;
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, NodeJS, and proficient use of package managers;

• Demonstrated strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and proactive communication skills in a team environment;
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher, coupled with a minimum of one year of residency in Portugal;
