Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst (Fraud) to investigate fraud attacks, quantify impact, and present findings that drive prioritisation and response.

You will refine rule-based mitigations with fraud operations and engineering, and build dashboards to monitor fraud trends and KPI performance. You will work closely with fraud operations, data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate analytical insights into action, proactively flag emerging patterns, and influence risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in Data Analyst (Fraud) or equivalent accomplishments.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL; able to write complex queries across large datasets.
• Experience in fraud, risk, or financial services; understand fraud attacks and mitigation trade-offs.
• Proactive mindset; you spot anomalies and dig in.
• Some exposure to Python scripting for data manipulation.
• Proficiency with a BI tool (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Superset, Redash).
• Strong stakeholder management; communicate findings clearly to teams across orgs.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams with shifting priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Statistics/Math/Engineering or related field.
