Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) in Portugal seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to partner with the Global Functions team and lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives. You will ensure accuracy and data integrity across the function while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

The role requires a university degree in business/economics, 5+ years of experience, fluent English (German a plus), SAP knowledge, and strong Excel/PowerBI skills.

Qualificações

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP highly valued.
• Good MS Office/Excel skills required.
• Experience with Knime and PowerBI or similar digital tools.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the GBS Controller in planning and forecasting activities.
• Drive Global Functions budget and forecast activities and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor Global Functions costs and analyze deviations.
• Ensure cost charging and forecast evolution; manage allocations.
• Prepare reports, scorecards, and data analyses; support month-end.
• Maintain tight communication with entities within responsibility area.

Your mission will be…

• Work closely with the GBS Controller in Germany and support them in planning and forecasting activities;
• Collaborate closely with management and stakeholders of the Global Functions;
• Drive Global Functions budget and forecast activities and assure its completeness and accuracy;
• Monitoring and analysis of Global Functions costs (accounts/cost centers trend) and clarification of relevant deviations;
• Ensure Global Functions costs charging (e.g., for general cost, employees cost, travelling cost, etc.) and monitor costs allocation and forecast evolution;
• Standard and specific reporting: preparation of key data, scorecards, graphics, reports and analysis - key comments and highlights - data report and maintenance;
• Participation in month-end activities;
• Tight communication with entities within responsibility area.

We are looking for someone with…

• University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent;
• At least 5 years experience as a Financial Controller or similar;
• Fluent in English, German is a plus;
• Knowledge of SAP is highly valued;
• Good MS Office knowledge, of which experience with Excel is mandatory;
• Experience with digital tools, e.g. Knime, PowerBI;
• Communication skills and team oriented;
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, in a changing environment;
• Dynamism, initiative and pro-activeness;
• Strong strategic judgment, business competence and professional ethics;
• Ability to build up and maintain customer relationships.
