Job summary

AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Associate Endpoint Security Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain advanced endpoint protection across global workstations, servers, and mobile devices. The role focuses on safeguarding the corporate environment and manufacturing operations, with hybrid work between Lisbon and remote work.

The candidate will lead remediation efforts, develop security policies, and educate stakeholders on risk management.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced endpoint protection knowledge and experience.
• Experience with securing baselines (DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks).
• Experience with data analytics and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, regulatory environments, and cross-team collaboration.
• Basic programming or scripting capabilities.
• Experience leading projects in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain endpoint protection solutions.
• Protect Amgen from threats inside global networks and manufacturing environments.
• Operate, manage, and improve endpoint security posture.
• Develop processes for multiple security solutions and educate leadership on strategy.
• Create training on protection technologies for operations staff.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security by design into new projects.
