AMGEN Capability Center Portugal is seeking a SIEM Engineer in Lisbon to develop and implement the organization’s security monitoring strategy, safeguarding data, systems, and networks. You will design and deploy robust monitoring, work with IT teams, and ensure real-time threat detection across the technology stack.

You will configure SIEM/SDL components, build detection rules, dashboards, and reports, and support incident investigations with comprehensive data.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree with 1–2 years of Information Systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of Information Systems experience.
• Diploma with 3–4 years of Information Systems experience.
• Proven understanding of common security monitoring and detection engineering practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture frameworks and principles.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain SIEM and Security Data Lake components (log collection, ingestion, parsing, normalization).
• Monitor health and performance of SIEM/SDL components; troubleshoot and document findings.
• Implement and test log source integrations and configuration changes per requirements.
• Validate log data quality; develop and tune detection rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Support incident investigations with relevant SIEM data and collaboration with teams.
• Maintain documentation and support audits; identify recurring issues and improvements.
