Job summary

AMGEN Capability Center Portugal seeks an experienced Senior Associate Endpoint Security Engineer to design, deploy and sustain endpoint protection across workstations, servers and mobile platforms. You will drive security controls, lead remediation efforts, and educate stakeholders on risk and protection strategies.

The role requires expertise in Windows, macOS/iOS environments and collaboration with legal, HR and architecture teams to embed security by design in new projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of IS/CS experience.
• Associate degree with 4 years of IS/CS experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years of IS/CS experience.

Responsibilities

• Specify, implement, and validate security controls for workstations, servers and mobile platforms.
• Design, operate, maintain, and enhance endpoint protection capabilities.
• Identify new risk areas for data and plan mitigating controls.
• Research new technologies and propose secure configurations.
• Develop procedures/guidelines for workstation/mobile protection and investigations.
• Educate technologists and leaders about security strategies.
• Collaborate with legal/HR on violation remediations.
• Integrate protection technology into EDR operations.
