YLD, a remote-first consultancy, specializes in software engineering, product design, and data. With teams across London, Lisbon, and Porto, we create digital solutions that deliver value long after deployment.

We are seeking a very experienced Digital Product Designer with proven Design Systems skills to join our Product Design team and shape user-centric products for client engagements. You’ll collaborate in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality design outcomes for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in UX Design, Product Strategy, UI / Interaction Design.
• Significant experience in Design Systems and UI design.
• Ability to create UI components independently to craft reusable design systems.
• Experience with Zeroheight / Supernova (or similar) and Storybook is welcome.
• Animation experience and incorporating it into UI is a plus.
• Knowledge of web accessibility is a bonus.
• Coding skills are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to shape innovative, user-centric products.
• Transform complex concepts into simple, easy-to-use experiences.
• Participate in all phases of product design: Research, Sketching, Wireframing, UI Design, Prototyping, User Testing.
