Job summary

CONKORD, a global high-tech company with 20-year Telco legacy, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Lisbon or Porto team. You will design cloud infra, automate with Terraform, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security and reliability across AWS or Azure.

You will work in a hybrid model with cross-functional teams, applying AI-assisted tools to boost automation and efficiency. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar role.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure experience.
• Terraform and IaC proficiency.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, PowerShell or equivalent.
• Monitoring, observability, and incident troubleshooting.
• Cloud security, IAM, and governance knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling for scripting/automation.
• Agile mindset with cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infra (AWS or Azure).
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to speed delivery.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Apply cloud security best practices and IAM controls.
• Troubleshoot complex infra, deployment, and prod issues.
• Optimize resource usage, costs, and performance.
• Collaborate with dev, architecture, security and ops teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance scripting and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to DevOps standards and technical docs.
