Job summary

Bosch Aveiro, a major site for Home Comfort, is seeking a DevOps/CI-CD Engineer to join the Electric Solutions group. You will shape continuous software delivery, build reliable pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.

You will design and improve CI/CD workflows, automate builds and tests, monitor pipeline health, and scale delivery infrastructure across cloud-based services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and agile practices at scale.
• Practical programming in Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and server administration is a plus.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), Grafana, Conan, and Maven is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Enable continuous development: Design and improve CI/CD workflows that support the way software teams work.
• Enhance automation: Automate builds, tests, code analysis, packaging, and release activities with useful feedback.
• Put software quality first: Consider testability, reproducible builds, version control, traceability, maintainability.
• Partner with engineers: Collaborate with software teams and translate real needs into platform improvements.
• Improve developer experience: Reduce repetitive manual work and speed up validation of changes.
• Keep delivery systems dependable: Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot build/integration issues.
• Scale delivery infrastructure: Contribute to reliable and scalable build infrastructure and cloud services.
