Job summary

Bosch Group in Aveiro is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Comfort. You will help design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, tests, and deployments, and collaborate with software engineers to improve platform reliability.

The role emphasizes scalable infrastructure, cloud services, and strong scripting in Bash, Python, and Go, with exposure to Linux/Windows and tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Jira, and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and agile practices at scale.
• Practical programming skills in Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• Practical knowledge with Linux and Windows systems.
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins, SonarQube, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and server administration (Windows/Linux) is a plus.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), Grafana, Conan, and Maven is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Enable continuous development by designing and improving CI/CD workflows.
• Enhance automation by building tests, code analysis, packaging, and release activities.
• Prioritize software quality with tests, reproducible builds, version control, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with software teams to turn needs into platform improvements.
• Improve developer experience by reducing repetitive manual work and ensuring frequent changes validation.
• Keep delivery systems dependable by monitoring pipelines and addressing bottlenecks.
• Scale delivery infrastructure including cloud-based services.
