A leading digital solutions provider in Portugal is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design and implement software solutions that enhance organizational efficiency. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating architectural designs, and providing application support. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in .Net, along with strong SQL skills and knowledge of data governance. This role is full-time and based on-site.

Qualificações

5+ years of professional experience in software development, using .Net.
8+ years as a functional analyst or technical business consultant.
Experience with data integrations between platforms.
Experience with effective data governance practices.
Proficient in SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and manipulation, with data warehouse knowledge.
Experience in data integrations between platforms.
Knowledge of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies (valued).
Experience designing efficient data structures to support reporting/analytics, ensuring data quality.
Experience developing and analysing solutions using SQL scripting.
Hands-on with data visualization tools such as MS SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.
Relevant technical certifications (Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI) highly valued.
Basic business knowledge in logistics and finance.
Experience in the food service / restaurant industry is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to diagnose business needs across multiple departments, design and implement software solutions, and ensure seamless integration between different systems. This role plays a key part in supporting new processes, optimizing existing ones, and delivering effective digital solutions aligned with organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather requirements directly from key users.
Design the architecture of proposed solutions.
Develop and implement analytical solutions that digitalize, streamline, and automate processes, reports, and analyses.
Perform unit testing to ensure quality and reliability.
Provide application support during hypercare and post‑deployment stabilization.
Report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Work closely with key users across various departments, ensuring deep collaboration and alignment with business needs.
Participate in annual objective definition and performance evaluation based on established KPIs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Systems & Technologies.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, using .Net.
At least 8 years of experience as a functional analyst or technical business consultant, including solution development, implementation, and process digitalization.
Experience with effective data governance practices.
Proficient in SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and manipulation, with solid understanding of data warehouse principles.
Experience in data integrations between platforms.
Knowledge of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies (valued).
Experience designing and implementing efficient data structures to support reporting and analytics needs, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Experience developing and analysing solutions using SQL scripting.
Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as MS SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft Power BI.
