A leading technology firm in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Developer passionate about Full Stack Development and modern web technologies. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications and REST APIs, contributing to cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Java-based environments, enjoys collaborating in a dynamic team, and possesses strong analytical skills. This position offers a permanent contract and opportunities to work on international projects.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of experience in Full Stack and Java-based development.
• Functional knowledge of the Banking and/or Financial domain.
• Proficiency in Portuguese (C2) and English (B2 to C1).

Senior Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about Full Stack Development, modern web technologies, and cloud environments? Then this position is for you.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and SOA layers within our ecosystem, including cloud migration initiatives.

Build side:

• Analyze and understand legacy Java applications
• Design and implement web applications and microservices using modern frameworks
• Develop RESTful APIs and SOA-based services
• Contribute to cloud migration projects for Java applications
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure application integration
• Apply best development practices, testing strategies, and coding standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and services
• Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of deployed solutions
• Monitor applications in cloud and containerized environments
• Resolve incidents and provide technical support when needed
• Continuously improve code quality and system reliability

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in demanding Full Stack and Java-based development environments. You enjoy working across the full software lifecycle, from analysis to production, and you are constantly innovating. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

You also have functional knowledge of the Banking and/or Financial domain.

You will evolve in a technically challenging environment, working on modern architectures (microservices, cloud, CI/CD) while strengthening your expertise in Full Stack development, cloud migration, and enterprise-grade applications within international projects.

• SOA programming: SOAP Web Services, RESTful APIs
• DevOps & tools: Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab, SonarQube
• Application servers: JBoss, JBoss EAP

Portuguese: C2

English: B2 to C1
