Usercentrics in Lisbon, Portugal is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product to define and solve high-impact problems using predictive modeling, causal inference, and advanced analytics.

You will mentor analysts and own cross-team workstreams end-to-end. You will establish analytical standards, build durable data products, and communicate actionable insights to executives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 6–10+ years of experience in data science / advanced analytics.
• Experience across marketing, revenue operations, finance and product is a plus.

We are looking for a self driven, curious, and analytical individual to join as a Senior Data Scientist. You will operate across Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product, partnering with senior stakeholders to define and solve complex, ambiguous business problems using advanced data science methodologies. You will solve ambiguous, cross-team problems at a multifunctional scale, backed by rigorous modeling, sound statistical judgment, and compelling, executive-ready storytelling.

YOUR TASKS

• Partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product to define ambiguous, high-impact problems and solve them with advanced data science methodologies (e.g. predictive modeling, causal inference, marketing attribution model, value-biden models, customer segmentation)
• Establish technical and analytical standards and patterns, through reviews, documentation, enablement, and tooling
• Lead multi-team initiatives, defining strategy, architecture/approach, and success metrics for cross-functional analytics programs
• Mentor and coach other analysts, building analytical capability
• Own large, mission-critical workstreams end-to-end, from framing ambiguous business questions to shipping models, forecasts, and recommendations that measurably move company-level KPIs (e.g. CAC, LTV, churn, pipeline conversion, revenue forecast accuracy)
• Anticipate risks and unblock other teams, ensuring high-impact analytics projects ship reliably and on time
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations that shape strategy

YOU BRING

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• 6-10+ years of experience in data science / advanced analytics, preferably with a track record of cross-functional impact across areas such as marketing, revenue operations, finance, and product
• Background in strategy consulting and/or tech scale-ups, SaaS
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL/Python (or R), statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques (e.g. regression, classification, causal inference, experimentation/A-B testing)
• Proven experience designing durable analytical systems, tooling, and BI dashboards (ideally Looker or Omni analytics) to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of setting technical standards, reviewing the work of others, and mentoring junior and mid-level team members
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders and executives, shaping a cross-functional analytics roadmap, and driving decisions that materially affect business outcomes across multiple domains
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, cross-functional environments, turning loosely defined goals into structured, executable plans
• Intellectually curious, high energy, and strong work ethic; passionate about working with, normalizing, and synthesizing large amounts of data into actionable insights
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
