Job summary

Usercentrics, a global leader in data privacy, seeks a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to own the data platform end‑to‑end and scale a DataOps mindset across teams. You will drive modernization, governance, and reliable data flows that empower ML, analytics and product features in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading a data engineering or data platform team in a fast‑growth SaaS environment.
• Experience defining long‑term DataOps strategies and scalable architectures.
• Hands‑on data engineering background with ability to guide technical decisions.
• Strong governance, security, retention and auditability knowledge.
• Proven ability to scale teams and systems; cross‑functional stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hands‑on Data Engineers team to build a full data platform and governance model.
• Own end‑to‑end data warehousing strategy, schemas, storage and partitioning for cost and performance.
• Define connections from data platform to ops systems and third‑party tools.
• Raise data quality, reliability, and fault tolerance across batch and near real‑time pipelines.
• Architect and drive observability for pipelines, datasets, and integrations; manage on‑call and ownership boundaries.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Analytics, Commercial and Finance on data strategy.
