Job summary

Usercentrics is hiring a Senior Data Engineer Manager in Lisbon to lead and scale our Data Engineering function. You will own the data platform, integrate with operational systems and third-party tools, and drive DataOps modernization to support ML, data products, and real-time analytics.

You will guide a team of data engineers, define data ingestion standards, and shape governance, security, and observability across pipelines and datasets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining long term data platform and DataOps strategies.
• Hands-on data engineering background guiding technical design decisions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Data Engineers and scale to a full data platform team.
• Own the data warehousing strategy, including technology stack and architecture.
• Define standards for data ingestion, enrichment, reliability and fault tolerance.
