Job summary

Mindera is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate robust data pipelines from source systems to the warehouse, in production systems with real-world impact. You will collaborate with leadership and clients, delivering reliable data platforms and governance across lake, lakehouse, and warehouse architectures.

You will leverage advanced SQL and Python, deep cloud skills (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern orchestration tools to ensure scalable, cost-efficient solutions while embracing AI

Qualifications

• Production data pipelines experience in large-scale environments.
• Ability to work with AI augmentation while maintaining rigorous validation.
• Fluent English communication with client teams.
• Cost engineering mindset to optimize pipeline costs.
• Exposure to GDPR/compliance requirements and auditable lineage.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate robust ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Own storage architecture across lakehouse, warehouse, and data lake.
• Ensure reliability and observability with orchestration, testing, alerts, and recovery.
• Apply infrastructure as code and CI/CD for data workloads; perform code reviews.
• Define data contracts with producing teams and manage data governance.
