Job summary

Tillster is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Lisbon to design and maintain data pipelines across Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake. You will build real-time and batch ETL, model data with dbt, and support BI tools like Looker/Tableau while collaborating with analytics and product teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, data quality, and scalable data architecture to empower data-driven decisions across marketing, product, and operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python development.
• 4+ years of SQL experience (Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery).
• 2+ years of AWS or equivalent cloud platform.
• 2+ years working with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Hands-on dbt data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with real-time ingestion tools (Snowpipe, Stitch, Fivetran, Kinesis).

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain data warehouse infrastructure across Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain real-time, batch, and streaming data pipelines for analytics products.
• Design data structures for real-time and near-real-time decision making.
• Support data needs of the MarTech stack (Braze, Acoustic, MoEngage, Segment).
• Modify and maintain SQL and Python ELT processes loading data into warehouses.
• Troubleshoot and maintain orchestration jobs with Airflow/Jenkins; collaborate with DevOps.
• Provide ad-hoc data extraction and analytics support to stakeholders.
• Maintain Looker Explores and dashboards; adapt to warehouse changes.
• Develop and maintain dbt models transforming raw data to analytics-ready datasets.
