Ebury Porto Office is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You will design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform used across the company, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver insights and drive innovation.

The role requires strong Python and SQL, data warehousing and modelling skills, and hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions). The position is based in Porto with hybrid work (4 days in office, 1 remote).

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets and data sources.
• Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale.

Ebury's strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data team and we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team! Our mission is to develop maintain and improve Ebury's Data Platform with a focus on building scalable, robust, and innovative frameworks. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help develop and improve the Data Platform.

Responsibilities:

About you:

• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, includingdesigning and implementing data solutions at scale
• Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-pacedenvironment, continuously improving both technical and business skills
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery,Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions
• Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
