Hexa Consulting is seeking a Senior Informatica ETL Developer to join our Client's team in a hybrid work model from Lisbon. You will design, develop and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related tooling.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of ETL experience, strong SQL, Linux/Unix scripting, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. English proficiency is essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of professional ETL development experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong hands-on Informatica PowerCenter components and ETL design expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of ETL design, mappings, workflows and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting and Bash.
• Solid data warehousing knowledge (star/snowflake schemas; Kimball/Inmon).
• Experience integrating diverse data sources (relational DBs, flat files, APIs, XML/JSON).
• Experience with workload automation tools (Control-M, AutoSys, Dollar Universe).
• Strong incident troubleshooting and L3 support capability.
• Professional English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design data flows, mappings, reusable components and integration patterns.
• Develop, test and deploy scalable ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and shell scripts.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources from cloud and on‑prem sources.
• Improve ETL performance via mapping optimization and query tuning.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents (L3 support).
• Ensure data integrity, quality and security throughout ETL processes.
• Maintain scheduling and workload automation processes.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews for the team.

Hexa Consulting is looking for a Senior Informatica ETL Developer to join our Client's team in a hybrid work model from Lisbon.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as an ETL Developer, with a strong focus on Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager.
• Advanced knowledge of ETL design, complex mappings, mapplets, workflows, performance tuning and partition management.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with stored procedures and database query optimization.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge and shell scripting experience, including Bash.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions and Kimball or Inmon methodologies.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, XML, JSON and cloud-based sources.
• Experience with workload automation and scheduling tools such as Control‑M, AutoSys or Dollar Universe.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including production incident investigation and Level 3 support.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with technical documentation, code reviews and development best practices.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of other Informatica modules, such as Data Quality or Master Data Management.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Snowflake.
• Experience with Jenkins or other automation tools.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Design technical solutions for complex data flows, including mappings, reusable components, workflows and integration patterns.

• Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures and Linux/Unix shell scripts for automation and data processing.

• Improve ETL performance through mapping optimization, database query tuning, cache management and partitioning strategies.
• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents, including Level 3 troubleshooting.
• Ensure data integrity, quality and security throughout ETL processes.
• Implement and maintain scheduling and workload automation processes.
• Maintain clear, accurate and up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Act as a technical reference for the development team, supporting code reviews and alignment with development best practices.
