ITDS in Porto invites a Senior Data Integration Engineer – Informatica PowerCenter to join a dynamic financial services client. You will deliver scalable data solutions for Lease Applications, lead the Porto engineering team, and optimize ETL pipelines across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data engineering/ETL, strong SQL, and hands‑on Informatica expertise. Fluency in English is required; a hybrid work model is offered with cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer/ETL Developer.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter suite (PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and major DBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata).
• Scripting in Shell (Bash/Unix/Linux).
• Understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies and schema design (Kimball/Inmon, star/snowflake).
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze complex requirements from business teams to design data architectures.
• Develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and automation scripts.
• Integrate data sources from relational DBs, APIs, flat files, and cloud.
• Tune ETL pipelines for performance and resilience.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across environments.
• Automate scheduling and workflows with Control-M, Jenkins, or similar.
• Lead Porto engineering team, conduct code reviews and establish best practices.

As a Senior Data Integration Engineer – Informatica PowerCenter, you will be working for our client in the financial services sector, focusing on delivering scalable data solutions for Lease Applications. Your main responsibilities:

• Analyze complex functional and technical requirements provided by business teams and Business Analysts to design effective data architectures.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and cloud services such as Informatica IICS.
• Write and optimize intricate SQL queries, stored procedures, and system automation scripts in Linux/Unix.
• Integrate diverse data sources including relational databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud environments.
• Tune and troubleshoot existing ETL pipelines for optimal performance and resilience.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across all processes and environments.
• Automate scheduling and operational workflows using tools like Control‑M, Jenkins, or similar.
• Serve as the technical lead for the Porto engineering team, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter suite (PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with major DBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata).
• Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash/Unix/Linux).
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies and schema design (Kimball/Inmon, star/snowflake models).
• Excellent command of English (fluent level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Data Quality (IDQ), MDM, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake.
• Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Spark.
• Familiarity with Automation and DevOps tools like Control‑M, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
