A2IT Technology in Lisbon seeks a Senior Data Engineer to define and implement Data Governance and Data Quality standards across the organization, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. You'll shape data ownership, stewardship, and cataloging practices using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.

The role requires a strong background in data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, NoSQL) and hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms.

Qualificações

• Bachelor07s degree or higher in a related discipline.
• Strong experience in Data Governance and Data Quality, including ownership, stewardship, glossary, catalog and lineage.
• Experience with Data Governance and/or Data Quality tools.
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse and NoSQL architectures.

• Define and evolve Data Governance & Data Quality frameworks, standards, policies and guidelines.
• Define Data Quality methodologies, rules, metrics and KPIs.
• Drive strategic Data Governance & Data Quality initiatives across teams and technologies.
• Monitor governance and quality maturity, identify improvement opportunities and promote best practices across the organization.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Data Governance and Data Quality, and proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.

You will join a large-scale environment, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to define and implement Data Governance and Data Quality standards, processes and best practices.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management or a related field.
• Strong experience in Data Governance & Data Quality, including Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog and Data Lineage.
• Experience with Data Governance and/or Data Quality tools.
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse and NoSQL architectures.
• Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in strategic or organizational transformation projects.
