We are looking for an Senior Data Architect!
Responsabilities:
- Define and evolve the Data Governance and Data Quality framework, including policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.
- Define Data Quality methodologies, rules, metrics, and KPIs, and monitor data quality issues and remediation actions.
- Establish standards and best practices for Data Governance and Data Quality across platforms, technologies, and teams.
- Define and promote practices related to Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, and Data Lineage.
- Lead and support Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives and strategic projects, from requirements and solution design through implementation and adoption.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to measure Data Governance maturity, adoption, and effectiveness.
- Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, training, and enablement to teams to promote the adoption of Data Governance and Data Quality practices.
- Identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous improvement across data management practices.
Requirements:
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, practices, and processes.
- Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality.
- Experience with Data Governance and/or Data Quality tools.
- Good knowledge of databases and data technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL architectures.
- Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, including their architectures and data management/governance capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to define Data Governance standards and solutions and guide teams in adopting Data Governance and Data Quality practices.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and/or global teams.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and data protection.
- Experience in strategic projects or organizational transformation.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Spanish.
- Experience defining Data Governance operating models, Data Catalogs, Business Glossaries, Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Data Lineage, and Data Quality metrics.
