Job summary

Accenture Technology in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. The role emphasizes Python, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern data engineering practices to enable analytics and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Apache Spark, data warehousing, and data quality controls, plus native Portuguese and English proficiency at B2 or above.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python and SQL experience (4+ years).
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling and governance.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with distributed processing (Spark) and big data tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing and large-scale systems.
• Ability to ensure data quality and security.
• Portuguese native and English at B2 level or higher.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
