Job summary

Miniclip is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines and models using AWS and modern cloud tech. You will mentor others and shape the data platform while delivering reliable data products across teams.

You’ll work on batch and streaming pipelines, data models and governance, with strong testing, deployment, and cost-efficiency practices to support product decisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building data pipelines and data products.
• Proficient in SQL and programming languages (Python/Scala/Java).
• Hands-on with orchestration and infrastructure as code.
• Strong data modeling, quality, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop scalable analytics-ready data models with clear ownership.
• Write production-level code with testing and deployment practices.
• Manage orchestration, CI/CD and infrastructure (Airflow, Jenkins, Terraform).
• Improve data quality, reliability and cost efficiency through monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Ensure data governance, privacy and security best practices.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices across the team.
