Syffer is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data architectures and pipelines for diverse clients. You will build scalable ETL/ELT processes, manage Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, and ensure governance, quality, and monitoring across platforms.

You should have 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL/Spark skills, and hands-on experience with Azure services. This is a remote-friendly role based in Portugal.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience with end-to-end data architecture and design.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and Spark.
• Familiar with Azure services: Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake.
• Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD and data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures (e.g., Medallion Architecture).
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop scalable data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Design and manage Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and monitoring.
• Implement CI/CD and DataOps best practices.
• Optimize storage solutions and data processing performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
