Job summary

Neotalent Conclusion is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our teams and contribute to the definition, evolution, and governance of complex data architectures within a large-scale environment. Qualifications

• Experience with data modeling including relational, dimensional, NoSQL, document, graph, geospatial and time-series models.
• Proven experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Big Data and modern analytics architectures.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep knowledge of data integration architectures: ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC, APIs and event-driven solutions.
• Ability to define reference architectures, architectural principles, standards and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our teams and contribute to the definition, evolution, and governance of complex data architectures within a large-scale and strategic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end data solutions, driving architectural decisions, evaluating technology alternatives, and ensuring that data platforms are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

You will also provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and support the adoption of best practices in data engineering, data governance, and enterprise architecture.

What you will do

• Analyze, challenge, and refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements to support architectural decisions;
• Design end-to-end data architectures covering data ingestion, integration, processing, storage, governance, and consumption;
• Define data models and integration patterns, including ETL/ELT, streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), APIs, and event-driven architectures;
• Evaluate technology options, identify architectural trade-offs, document decisions, and establish reference architectures and design standards;
• Ensure data solutions meet requirements related to scalability, performance, security, resilience, data quality, governance, observability, and regulatory compliance;
• Provide technical guidance to Data Engineers, Architects, and implementation teams, while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders;
• Define architectures for Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and cloud-based analytical platforms;
• Produce architecture documentation, technical assessments, diagrams, and recommendations, presenting and defending solutions to technical and business audiences.

What you are like

• Previous experience with data modeling, including relational, dimensional, NoSQL, document, graph, geospatial, and time-series models;
• Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Big Data, and modern analytics architectures;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
• Strong expertise in data integration architectures, including ETL/ELT processes, streaming, CDC, APIs, and event-driven solutions;
• Experience in defining reference architectures, architectural principles, standards, and enterprise architecture frameworks will be a plus;
