Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to integrate one of our biggest clients in the banking sector. The client in question is one of the biggest banks in Europe, with activity in over 70 countries around the world, and has over 150 years of existence, making it an extremely consolidated player in the banking industry.

You will be joining the Analytics teams of this highly qualified company (Lisbon - Hybrid).

What you will do:

• Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources;
• Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines;
• Understand and be the point of contact for the business and assess its needs;
• Ensure architecture meets business requirements;
• Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value;
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders;
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results;

What you are like:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
• Professional experience in any data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI;
• Professional experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas);
• Proficiency in SQL;
• Knowledge in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto, and Airflow is a plus;
• Knowledge of Power Query and DAX is a plus;
• Fluency in written and spoken English;
