Ivy Partners in Lisbon, Portugal seeks a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to join international teams supporting data center infrastructure across Europe, the Americas and Asia. You will contribute to a major migration and transformation program.

Reporting to the CTO, you will work in an automated environment using Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Terraform and Python, maintaining underlay and overlay networks and driving NetDevOps practices.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.

• Engineer,manage,andenhancenetworkinfrastructureacrossinternationalDataCenters.
• ContributetoDataCentermigration,consolidation,andtransformationprojects.
• Maintainandevolverouting,switching,andnetworkvirtualisationsolutions.
• Troubleshootcomplexnetworkissuesacrossunderlayandoverlaylayers,ensuringreliableconnectivity.
• DevelopandmaintaininfrastructureautomationusingTerraform,Python,andscripting.
• SupporttheadoptionofNetDevOpspracticestoimproveconsistencyandefficiencyacrossnetworkoperations.
• Collaboratewithinternationaltechnicalteamstodeliversolutionsalignedwithacommonglobalarchitecture.

Youareouridealcandidateifyou:

• Atleast8yearsofhands-onexperienceinnetworkengineering,withstrongexpertiseinroutingandswitching.
• Solidknowledgeofnetworkingprotocols,particularlyBGPandOSPF.
• ProvenexperienceworkingwithDataCenternetworkinfrastructure.
• Astrongunderstandingofunderlayandoverlayarchitecturesandhowphysicalandvirtualnetworklayersinteract.
• Experiencewithnetworkvirtualisation.
• Practicalknowledgeofinfrastructureautomationandscripting,particularlyTerraformandPython.
• Stronganalyticalandtroubleshootingskills,withtheabilitytoinvestigateissuesacrossmultiplenetworklayers.
• Abilitytocollaborateeffectivelywithinaninternational,geographicallydistributedteam.
