Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of complex data centre systems in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

You will lead large-scale infrastructure projects, evaluate emerging technologies, and mentor the operations team while acting as a subject matter expert in high-priority technical scenarios and incidents. Travel to additional DCs is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a focus on infrastructure design and management.
• Deep knowledge of data centre architecture, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery planning.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis expertise.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex data centre systems.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure projects and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Act as SME in high priority technical customer service scenarios.
• Define operational standards, policies, and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the operations team.
• Engage directly with customers on key projects and escalations.
• Travel to additional DCs to manage deployments and align with org objectives.
