Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Senior Data Center Break/Fix Technician to diagnose, repair, and validate enterprise server, storage, and networking hardware across customer data centres in Europe. Initial onboarding includes extensive travel, with a permanent base in Amsterdam thereafter.

You will perform hardware diagnostics, FRU replacements, and preventive testing while meeting strict SLA targets. Strong customer communication and documentation are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting enterprise data centres or colocation facilities.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting for server, storage, and network hardware.
• Familiarity with RAID, BIOS/UEFI, firmware, and diagnostics.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe during onboarding.
• Proven ability to work in SLA-driven environments.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve hardware faults on servers, storage, and network gear.
• Replace FRUs such as HDD/SSD, DIMMs, CPUs, PSUs, RAID controllers, NICs.
• Perform POST, firmware checks, and configuration verifications.
• Test repaired systems and ensure production readiness.
• Provide Smart Hands support and escalate complex faults as needed.
• Install, upgrade, relocate, and decommission hardware in data centres.
• Maintain rack standards, cabling, and infrastructure documentation.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams; produce service reports.
