Reboot Monkey is seeking freelance Data Center Technicians to deliver on-demand support for global data centers. You’ll install, troubleshoot, and manage servers, networking gear, and virtualization, working independently with remote teams to ensure high uptime and security.

Requirements include 3+ years in data center operations, Cisco/Juniper networking, Linux/Windows expertise, and relevant certifications. Flexible schedule and remote work are offered to enable efficient client service.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in data center operations, with independent or freelance project experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking devices.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux system management and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs; virtualization a plus.
• Valid certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ desired.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and hardware for uptime.
• Monitor operations remotely and on-site; diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking devices to ensure secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems; apply updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and system performance for transparency.
• Implement security protocols and collaborate with remote teams on projects.
