Reboot Monkey is seeking a Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on-demand support for our global data centers. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and networking gear, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.

You should have 3+ years in data center operations, strong Cisco/Juniper experience, and proficiency with Windows and Linux systems. This freelance role offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely with occasional travel.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of data center operations experience, freelance-friendly.
• Ability to travel to multiple data center locations on short notice.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux system management and updates.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper devices and troubleshooting.
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ are desirable.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours, nights, and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site to minimize downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking devices to ensure secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, apply patches and security updates.
• Document installations and performance for remote teams.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams and vendors on projects.
• Ensure data center security protocols and compliance.
