Job summary

The role requires data validation, functional testing, and clear French documentation for technical teams. You will collaborate across business units, analyze data for insights, and support deployment with stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL knowledge: SELECT, filters, joins, subqueries.
• Experience translating business needs into functional specs.
• Experience mapping as-is and to-be processes.
• Experience in functional testing and data validation.
• Proficient in creating functional docs (specs, use cases, guides).
• French proficiency at least B2; able to lead meetings and communicate with French-speaking stakeholders.

• more than 9 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Business Consultant with a strong focus on data analysis.
• Solid hands-on experience with SQL, including the ability to independently write queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including SELECT statements, filtering, grouping, complex JOINs, and subqueries.
• Experience in business requirements gathering and functional analysis, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
• Experience in business process mapping and analysis, identifying inefficiencies, and defining as-is and to-be processes.
• Experience in functional testing, data validation, and verifying data consistency and quality using SQL queries.
• Ability to produce functional documentation, including specifications, use cases, and user guides.
• French proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken, with the ability to lead meetings, document requirements, and communicate daily with French-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to identify needs, gather requirements, and analyse functional challenges.

• Analyse existing processes (as-is), identify inefficiencies and data flow gaps, and propose improvements for future processes (to-be).
• Participate in functional testing activities and validate data consistency, integrity, and quality using SQL queries.
• Create and maintain functional documentation in French, including specifications, use cases, and user guides.
• Provide functional support to teams during the implementation and deployment of new solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with French-speaking stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Availability to work in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week at the Porto or Lisbon office.
