Job summary

PrimeIT is seeking a Data & Analytics Site Reliability Engineer to support data processing and analytics automations while continuously improving reliability, performance and security. You will design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and build, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git.

The role requires 4–5 years of Azure experience, Terraform and IaC expertise, plus strong Python/Bash scripting.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of confirmed experience with Azure components.
• Expert knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Boards and Repos, and Git proficiency.
• Experience with Azure services such as Storage Accounts, Data Factory or Synapse, SQL Database, Azure ML and Cost Management.
• Knowledge of data/analytics services incl. Databricks, Event Hubs, Event Grid and related Azure tech.
• Advanced Python, Bash/Shell or scripting language skills.
• Good IT fundamentals: AD, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SSL, network isolation.
• Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server experience.
• Experience in Level 2/3 incident resolution and production monitoring.
• Excellent English communication to collaborate with teams in France.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for data processing and analytics automations, improving reliability, performance and security.
• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Investigate and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents using monitoring tools such as Datadog and Azure Monitor.
• Automate complex operational requests, including cloud account provisioning, service principals and SSL certificate renewals.
• Support Azure data and analytics services, including data storage, processing platforms and databases.
• Apply security best practices across cloud infrastructure, networking and deployments.
• Contribute to process improvements and reliable cloud operations in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with international teams, including colleagues based in France.
