Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain security requirements and strategies for cryptography and data protection.
• Support international teams in implementing security controls and best practices.
• Perform security risk assessments, evaluate impacts, and recommend mitigations.
• Participate in PoCs for new security technologies and solutions.
• Assess robustness of security architectures and encryption mechanisms.
• Guide projects in data protection techniques including cryptography, masking, and anonymization.
• Produce and validate security risk analyses and countermeasures.
• Define enterprise-wide security requirements for cryptography and data security initiatives.
• Contribute to cryptographic asset inventory strategies and crypto-agility programs.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends and promote security awareness.

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity & Cryptography Specialist to join an international cybersecurity team focused on protecting critical information assets, strengthening operational resilience, and driving enterprise-wide security initiatives within a highly regulated environment.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the definition of cybersecurity strategies, cryptographic standards, and data protection frameworks while collaborating with global stakeholders on large-scale security programs.

Hybrid model 2-3 days per week in the office in Lisbon or Porto

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security requirements and strategies related to cryptography and data protection.
• Support international teams in the implementation of security controls and best practices.
• Perform security risk assessments, evaluate impacts, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new security technologies and solutions.
• Assess the robustness of security architectures, encryption mechanisms, and key management processes.
• Guide projects in selecting the most appropriate data protection techniques, including cryptography, data masking, and anonymization.
• Produce and validate security risk analyses and recommend countermeasures.
• Define enterprise-wide security requirements for cryptography and data security initiatives.
• Contribute to cryptographic asset inventory strategies and crypto-agility programs.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends and promote security awareness across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, and Information Security.
• Solid understanding of Cryptography, Key Management, and Data Protection principles.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and defining mitigation strategies.
• Ability to design and review secure architectures and security frameworks.
• Good understanding of business and technology interactions within large organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
