Decskill is expanding its cybersecurity leadership team and seeks a Cryptography Cybersecurity Expert to define security requirements, guide business units, and assess risks across enterprise environments. The role focuses on cryptography, data protection, and crypto-agility within a global context.

You will participate in PoCs, evaluate architectures, and promote encryption and data masking techniques, collaborating with international teams to strengthen resilience.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• Experience defining and implementing cryptography and data security strategies.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and defining mitigation plans.
• Experience evaluating security architectures and data protection mechanisms.

Responsabilidades

• Define security requirements and strategies for cryptography and data protection across enterprise environments.
• Provide guidance and support to business units and subsidiaries in implementing security controls and best practices.
• Assess, analyze, and evaluate cybersecurity risks, their potential impact, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Participate in technical PoCs to evaluate and validate security solutions.
• Define and promote data protection techniques, including cryptography, anonymization, and data masking.
• Produce and review security risk assessments, recommending countermeasures where necessary.
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity governance and operational resilience.

We are looking for an Cryptography Cybersecurity Expert!

Responsabilities:

• Define security requirements and strategies for cryptography and data protection across enterprise environments.
• Provide guidance and support to business units and subsidiaries in implementing security controls and best practices.
• Assess, analyze, and evaluate cybersecurity risks, their potential impact, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Participate in technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to evaluate and validate security solutions.
• Assess the robustness of security architectures, cryptographic designs, and data protection mechanisms.
• Define and promote appropriate data protection techniques, including cryptography, anonymization, and data masking.
• Produce and review security risk assessments, recommending countermeasures where necessary.
• Define and maintain security requirements for cryptography and data security across the organization.
• Contribute to the inventory and lifecycle management of cryptographic assets and support crypto-agility initiatives.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity governance and operational resilience.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• Experience defining and implementing cryptography and data security strategies.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and defining mitigation plans.
• Experience evaluating security architectures and data protection mechanisms.
• Experience participating in security-focused technical projects and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Experience working within large enterprise or regulated environments is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity.
• Solid understanding of cryptography, key management, and data protection principles.
• Knowledge of data protection techniques such as encryption, anonymization, and data masking.
• Ability to assess security architectures and evaluate the robustness of technical solutions.
• Experience defining security requirements and security-by-design principles.
• Understanding of cryptographic asset management and crypto-agility concepts.
• Knowledge of enterprise security governance and risk management practices.
• Strong understanding of IT environments, infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
