Job summary

Devoteam Cyber Trust in Portugal is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a strategic cybersecurity transformation, expanding a Cyber Defense Center into 24/7 monitoring and incident response. You will coordinate multi-vendor and cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within scope and quality.

You will manage governance, risk, and vendor relationships, ensure ITSM integration, and define operating models for ongoing security operations.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• At least 5 years leading multi-vendor infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
• Proven experience delivering SOC, SIEM/XDR, or managed security service transitions.
• Experience managing vendors under SOWs with change control and multi-party arrangements.
• Strong ITSM integration and security operations knowledge.
• Excellent communication in English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated project plan across multiple workstreams, vendors, and internal teams.
• Establish and manage project governance, including weekly status meetings and RAID logs.
• Coordinate technology vendors, managed security service providers, and internal IT teams.
• Track vendor deliverables, acceptance criteria, deadlines, and change requests.
• Drive the project critical path from design through pilot and go-live.
• Coordinate integration of cybersecurity platforms with the ITSM environment.
• Define operating models, escalation procedures, runbooks, and service handover.
• Consolidate status reporting for IT management, highlighting risks and decisions.
