Job summary

PrimeIT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Project Manager to design end-to-end security architectures across network, application, data and cloud domains. You will advise IT delivery teams and translate security requirements for non-technical stakeholders.

The role requires CISSP and 8+ years in cyber security, with banking/security project experience and strong ISO/NIST knowledge. Lisbon or Porto offices offer an opportunity for growth and international exposure.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification required.
• 8+ years in cyber security with at least 4 years in security architecture or senior advisory roles.
• Experience delivering security for large-scale, cloud-native banking or financial services projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27000-series, ISO 27005, ISO 31000 and familiarity with NIST CSF.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end security architectures (network, application, data & cloud) embedding security controls from the outset.
• Advise IT delivery teams, product owners, and business units; translate security requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Review security deliverables and provide remediation roadmaps.
• Lead cloud-centric security analyses (multi-cloud, IaC, containers, serverless) and define cloud-specific controls and tooling integration patterns.
• Identify gaps in security processes and champion continuous improvement initiatives (AI/ML threat intel enrichment, anomaly detection, code review assistants).
• Conduct security workshops, trainings and champion programs; contribute to security knowledge base and best practices.
