Decskill, an IT consulting company, is seeking a Cobol Developer for a Lisbon or Porto project with a hybrid work model (2 days on-site per week).

We value long-term relationships with clients and people, offering opportunities to work on national and international projects, with a focus on clean, maintainable Cobol code and strong documentation practices.

English proficiency at B2 level is mandatory, and the role expects adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• 6-9 years of Cobol development experience.
• Experience with CICS, DB2 and JCL and documenting software applications.

We would like to meet a Cobol Developer for a project with a hybrid working model based in Lisbon or Porto (2x/week).

Requirements:

• 6 - 9 years of experience in Cobol development.
• Experience with CICS, DB2, JCL.
• Experience in creating documentation that describes the software application, its features, and its functionality by writing technical documentation, user guides, and API documentation
• Able to consistently follow established coding standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the production of clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).
