Uma empresa de consultoria em TI em Lisboa está à procura de um desenvolvedor COBOL de médio nível. Você será responsável por desenvolver e otimizar aplicações em ambientes de mainframe, colaborar com diferentes stakeholders e integrar sistemas legados. Para ter sucesso, você deve ter forte experiência com programação COBOL, conhecimento em JCL e skills de comunicação. Qualificações

• Experiência sólida com programação COBOL e ambientes mainframe (CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM).
• Experiência com JCL e TSO/ISPF.
• Familiaridade com sistemas de controle de versões.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver e otimizar aplicações em COBOL.
• Colaborar com stakeholders técnicos e não técnicos.
• Participar na integração de sistemas legados.

We are looking for an Amazing: Cobol developer

Seniority: Middle senior

Type of position: Hybrid

The amazing you, will have:

• Strong experience with COBOL programming and mainframe environments (CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM).
• Experience with JCL (Job Control Language), TSO/ISPF, and batch processing.
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, Endevor, ChangeMan).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization on mainframes.
• Experience with legacy system integration and data migration projects.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in migrating or integrating COBOL systems with modern platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
