Decskill is growing and seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP) to join our team on a hybrid basis in Porto. You will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on scalable and secure solutions.

You will lead IaC with Terraform, manage cloud networking, and work with Kubernetes (GKE). You will mentor teammates and drive best practices in security, governance, and cost optimization while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts.
• Proven hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Previous experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Manage and optimize cloud networking architectures.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Work with containerized environments, particularly Kubernetes, preferably Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Ensure best practices in cloud security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Work with version control systems such as GitHub.
