Claranet Limited in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our internal team. You will design and maintain cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform and lead secure, scalable deployments.

You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), and GitHub, mentoring peers and ensuring best practices in cloud security, governance, and cost optimization. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams and delivering high-quality cloud solutions.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts.
• Proven experience with Terraform.
• Experience leading and managing technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.
• Manage and optimize cloud networking architectures.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Work with containerized environments, particularly Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Ensure best practices in cloud security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Work with version control systems such as GitHub.
