SummitLogic in Almada, Portugal is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team for on-site design and construction support. You will conduct site visits, prepare CAD-based designs, and coordinate with architects and contractors to meet project specs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of civil engineering experience, with strong CAD skills and knowledge of building codes. A full-time position with accommodation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
• Create detailed designs and plans using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor needed for construction.
• Monitor progress and quality of construction work to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
